Now it's time to go to work on that home business idea. Make sure you set regular hours whether you are working full or part time at your new home business. Dress appropriately. When you are fully dressed to start your business day you will come across more professionally.  Learn good phone skills. Oh, and be prepared not to have an income for a few to several months. Anyone telling you that you will make thousands your first week is dubious, looking for get-rich-quick- suckers and you should run for the hills. If you don't have money saved you may have to work part-time, or have a spouse that is willing to work until the business is showing a profit.

Once your business is chugging along at a nice clip, you can hire others to take care of some of the daily tasks and have more time to spend with family and friends. But remember, you will still need to be vigilant. Employees can embroil you in litigation, you may have other costs such as employee health insurance, and you WILL have to pay employment taxes, worker's comp and more.
